    It looks like the issue may be with hotplugging, as this time i have tried with 4GB ram and hotplugging for everything but ram and with out ballooning. Is this lightly a bug or an issue with Debian or something at my end and thank you for your help.

    Yes, i have either stopped the vm before adding ram or stopped then started it up again also, i have hot swap ram on.

    It's surprising that its not dynamic, as it seams to be on other os, will i have to adjust it every time i change the ram.

    The host has plenty of ram and this only seems to be happening with debian.

    A couple of hours but, i can leave it running and check periodically. No, for some reason it seams to be stuck on 6Gb swap and 1 GB ram.

    So there's no way to do this at all not even iscsi or some thing else like an lvm or a directory under storage in proxmox.

    I am trying to share a USB across multiple virtual machines at once but, when its enabled it only seems to be visible on one virtual machine. So far i haven't been able to find any thing on this, can some one please point me in the right direction or suggest where i am going wrong. Thanks
