Hi all.
I have a dedicated server to create NAS, primarily backups data from VMs and hosts.
What is the true way for this job:
1. Proxmox as NAS - Install proxmox and configure some "NAS services" (NFS, SMB, FTP)? Can I do this easy (from gui)?
2. Proxmox only using NAS - Install other OS that...
I need migrate 200 LXC containers between two nodes with minimum downtime. Now its possible to migrate one by one LXC because Bulk Migrate doesn`t know how to migrate LXC with "restart" mode.
so as a result Bulk Migration doesn't work with LXC? (yes)
...and my question is "How I can change live migration to use the restart migration for Bulk Migrate?"
where I can add "--restart" option to LXC "Bulk Migrate"?
Some thoughts:
I can migrate VMs (kvm and lxc) between nodes and restart nodes without guests one by one.
As a result I separate nodes networks, but how split ceph cluster/public network settings without stopping all VMs
Any Idea?
How I can change live migration to use the restart migration for Bulk Migrate?
Without that Bulk migration will not work (bulk stop/bulk migrate/bulk start - it`s not true).
Thanks.
Hello!
I have a ceph cluster with same public and cluster network.
What is true way to separate ceph cluster/public network in the production?
Is it really without stopping all vm`s?
Thanks!
