It's quite possible it could be an OS thing. The driver in use is VFIO-PCI so the virtual driver is in use. I do think truenas needs the storage pool to be disconnected before any attempt to mount after a shutdown?

Yes it could, no you shouldn't. with 2gb of ram on an old i5. (given the little information I guess it's an original). You need to enable virtualization in bios in order to get it to work. Please could you provide a little more information? - what works - error messages

I have read the post you sent. Don't quite understand how it works. I have passed through an USB stick to /dev/ttyACM0, then I added the following to my VM (vmid 109): serial0: /dev/ttyACM0 But it doesn't show inside my VM, I guess it's not the correct way, but what would be? Thanks!
