Hi,
I just upgraded proxmox, but i used apt upgrade. not dist-upgrade.
Now there are packages that are kept back.
libpve-access-control/stable 6.1-3 all [upgradable from: 6.0-5]

It seems that the issue is related to the uptime...
If the Hypervisor is up for a long time the problem will occure more.
Example, if the server is up for a day or say 2 weeks there are no issues, but maybe sometimes once, if the server is say up for 4 or 5 months the issues can occure daily...
But it seems that the usage of a early version 6 and using linux bonds will make the servers more unstable. and that ovs and a upgrade looks like it is more stable.
yes, they are :( i switched core switch, updated firmware. replaced caching disks, moved from linux bridge to ovs and visa versa, rebooted servers, jumbo frames no jumboframes, diffrent client os i only did not change the LACP links to the network and formatted they hypervisor. (because of the...
Hi Aaron! :)
You have two clusters, each in a different datacenter. They have a storage configured on Synology boxes and encounter IO errors if there is a lot of IO you encounter problems and VM disk corruption? (IO in terms of IOPS, not bandwidth).
Yes, 2 clusters in 2 datacenters, storage is...
Hi,
I have 2 clusters running proxmox, both on Supermicro server hardware connected with lacp links to a core switch, the storage is both on synology hardware but with diffrent configurations. one is a single rackmountable rs 8series and the other is a cluster rs 3617 system.
I get sometimes...
Hi, tburger,
Thank you for your anwser, The switch is a HP Enterprise class server. it cost arround 2500 euros. it was over qualified for this job.
I do not think this is an issue. but the idea of limiting the io is intresting. than we have some time to investigate further.
is there a way to...
Hello,
We haveing troubles with our PVE cluster. servers randomly stop with io-error. someimes on a worst moment so that the superblock is damaged.
the problem started to occure when we upgraded from version 4 to version 6. we did the upgrade by the book and we had no errors.
our cluster is...
A same problem here.
I use an HP proBook 650 G1 with firefox. no issues at all.
I switched to an Microsoft surface Pro 5 and now the whole interface is unusable. clicking on icons do not work. and if i get lucky and get into a console. the mouse will not work.
I switched back to the old laptop...
That is the strange thing. The network load is not there... i have 3Gb connection to the network. but we use SMB for storage.
So the max load per server is only 1Gbit per share (we have one share for disk images)
Besides this the NAS load is almost non existent... peak iops is arround 250...
