Hey, I've spent the past few months working on a Minecraft server I made in an LXC container. I know that sounds silly but 2 months of coding/building/configuring something I was going to attempt to make a profit off of just gone is my worst nightmare. I made no backup of the container, and...
Connected to localhost.localdomain.
No, and I also changed it after changing IPs (It was 0.0.0.0 before)
I'm able to ping google so DNS is working, but regardless it's set to google's DNS already.
The hostname where?
Thank you much for the reply :)
Update: service pve-cluster restart no longer fixes the web interface. No other changes have been made except to virtual machines. I'm totally lost here.
Hello. I deracked/reracked my server and changed IP addresses. For some reason after reconfiguring the server for the new IP I'm no longer able to use the browser GUI or am I able to SSH in. Using the command "service pve-cluster restart" I was able to fix it and use the web GUI but was still...
Hello, I'm not sure how to configure networking for LXC containers. I've played around with it for about an hour but I can't seem to figure them out.
/etc/network/interfaces from the host
Okay, it appears I can access it anywhere except locally. Odd... this doesn't seem like a problem with Proxmox. However, any input would be appreciated
Hello, I'm not able to access the web GUI via https://MYSTATICIP:8006 using multiple browsers. I can ping in and out, locally and over the internet, using an online 'port checker' verifies that the port is open (other ports that aren't in use aren't open). Is there anything obvious I haven't tried?
Hi,
I'm trying to setup proxmox with a public static IP that I bought from my ISP (different netmask/gateway as well), and I'm having trouble connecting with the web GUI. When I enter in the information for the static IP, I can ping other outside servers, and I can ping the server running...
Okay, I fixed some of the problem. I set the IP to a local IP, set the netmask and gateway to what my other computer on the network uses and was able to connect to the web GUI. I'm not sure how to setup the server to have a static IP or how to connect to it outside of the LAN.
I plugged the Ethernet cable into one of the onboard NICs(has to be a specific one or it doesn't work) and I can now ping google.com.
I also added iface eth0 inet manual to /etc/network/interfaces.
I purchaced a range of static IPs from my ISP and entered one into the server when I reinstalled...
No, I can't reach the web interface with a browser, or ping 192.168.100.1 I'm simply connected to a router (both computers are connected via ethernet to the same router), and I thought DHCP would automatically setup the networking information. I put the defaults as I honestly have no idea where...
