Can't access the web gui

Hello, I'm not able to access the web GUI via https://MYSTATICIP:8006 using multiple browsers. I can ping in and out, locally and over the internet, using an online 'port checker' verifies that the port is open (other ports that aren't in use aren't open). Is there anything obvious I haven't tried?

Okay, it appears I can access it anywhere except locally. Odd... this doesn't seem like a problem with Proxmox. However, any input would be appreciated

reset cache on the browser on the offending machine.
see if that fixes it.
