Hello
I use proxmox backup server on one of my servers which also holds other backups, created with rsync on the backup pool partition. Because I’ve only 4 usable slots on this server I must use the same zfs storage for all backups. If I now run GC I got an error “TASK ERROR: cannot continue...

Nope, but the other guy seams to have exactly the same problem, he uses S-ATA, I use only SAS and SSD's. Today I had two times to “drop_caches”, this drives me crazy, thinking about to switch back to the old hardware.
On the other post I read that may be to much ram could be a problem, I've...
Hello,
I've migrated my old proxmox server to a new system running on 4.4, the new system uses 2 raid 10 arrays, formated with xfs. I get many times a month:

As soon as I get...
Thanks Dietmar, the problem was solved with redownloading of the template and I also found out that in the old proxmox 3 templates the following lines must be removed to work in proxmox 4:
GATEWAYDEV="venet0"
NETWORKING_IPV6="yes"
IPV6_DEFAULTDEV="venet0"
Hi all

I’ve now rebooted my server, on startup I found this on the console:
Buffer I/O error on device dm-5, logical block 14503920
Buffer I/O error on device dm-5, logical block 14503920

Hello
I've added an internal backup LAN to my proxmox hosts. Today I noticed that some console output are very very slow if the backup LAN is present (NIC eth1 UP) on the proxmox host. So I did some tests with traceroute and found out that the traffic flows over the internal backup LAN IP if...
