Following up here as I had the same issue. There was a setting in my BIOS/UEFI called C.A.M. (Clever Access Memory). It is related to Resizable BAR, which is mainly used if you're doing gaming or video stuff. Disabling this setting solves the issue for me.

I've considered trying that, but was unsure about doing so as I believe once the nodes are clustered they will still need the API to be able to work effectively. I will try it now.

SSH from one host to the next works fine. No hardening or security measures applied - it's a fresh, out the box, just updated install on both machines.

What are the specific issues you have seen with it? We've used it and it's worked fine, but ultimately if you want to use WHMCS it is your only option for now.

We are currently using Ceph, though this decision was based around a desire for tight PMVE integration and a few other requirements, rather than raw IOPS. We're using commodity hardware, with many, many, 300GB disks. Performance is more than adequate.

We've been deploying something similar lately, and what we have ultimately used is a combination of CloudInit, template VMs and Ansible. We then have an exteral IPAM system handling much of the rest.

Is this a plan/thing? It's a feature we would really love to see, but haven't heard of until now :)
