I've solved this step, the installation should be aborted after License accept.
I've recovered grub, but after reboot I get an error like this:
filesystem 'rpool/ROOT/pve-1' cannot be mounted at '/root//mnt' due to canonicalization error 2.
Do you have some hints?
Bruno
Hello Tom,i followed your advice, but when i click "Abort" button in the Proxmox graphic mode wizard, i don't get a shell. The system is automatically rebooted and no action is possible. How to get a shell to try the grub2 recovery?Best Regards,Bruno
It worked fine. The important thing is, when upgrading nodes, is to do an apt-get update && apt-get upgrade to get PVE 2.3 before following the upgrade procedure from 2.3 to 3.1.
Missing the intermediate upgrade will lead to great problems, with the need to backup and reinstall the whole node...
Hello,
i've a crazy behaviour of a Windows 2003 server VM on a proxmox ve 3.1 node.
I found the VM stopped without any error message in logs. Strange because i've a second VM with same configuration and setup and it never stops.
Some hint?

Hello,

It seems to work. Today i'll try to upgrade my production cluster.
Bruno
Thanks Marco.
I'll definitively wait for an answer from PVE staff just to be sure. It's obvious that my target is to join, move and immediately upgrade other nodes to 3.1!

Bruno

As last exit, i planned to:
A) Install 3.1 on a fresh server, a bit more capable than the 2.2 nodes
B) Offline migrate some VMs to the new node. Turn off some less used VMs
C) Break old...
