hi guys, i have some machine configured like this:
CT:linux
VM:windows
when i try to access VM from console(novnc,vnc) it worked. but when i try to access CT, it wont work. is it possible iptables blocking the port?what port should i allow to be able to remote CT?
thanks beforehand
i was planning to add more ram to one of my pve 3.3 node.
do i have to reinstall pve?or it will detect automatically and get updated?
using supermicro 1012G-MTF
i am wondering why..
for example, when i ping from VM 100 to 101, it works.
but when i do traceroute from vm 100 to 101, it wont work. 101 to 100 too...
why is that?
Proxmox VE Version: 3.3-2/995e687e
running with bridge VMBR0 on both VMs
hello guys,
i recently changed IP of my server. if i access the web interface via VPN, it loaded...but when i connect from public connection, the result always slow loading(sometime crashed) with error "ERR_TIMED_OUT" on chrome.i already tried to update proxmox, clearing my browser cache, try to...
i want to ask about the iptables on centos guest.
why every time i create new CT, it always contain this line?
# Generated by iptables-save v1.4.7 on Mon Jan 20 00:13:28 2014*nat
:PREROUTING ACCEPT [3:405]
:POSTROUTING ACCEPT [1:84]
:OUTPUT ACCEPT [1:84]
COMMIT
# Completed on Mon Jan 20 00:13:28...
well, at first, i try to do that..but the eth0 isnt up..so, i configure it like this
# vi /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0
DEVICE=eth0
BOOTPROTO=static
DHCPCLASS=
HWADDR=de:vi:ce:ma:c:addr
IPADDR=192.168.88.10
NETMASK=255.255.255.0
GATEWAY=192.168.88.1
ONBOOT=yes
#save n quit...
hello guys,
i want to ask something i have searched before(using google of course)
how to move interface from venet to veth?
current config:
OS: centos6 and ubuntu12.4
IP: centos = 10.10.78.60; ubuntu 10.10.78.62; host 10.10.78.59
gateway: 10.10.78.57/29
currently, guest using openVZ with venet...
maybe sessions...btw,its not idle i think..because its on wget process...
but i have resolved this by:
adding new user login,
set ssh no root login
shh login AcceptUsers new user
and then change ssh port. so its still secure..
hello,
i want to ask to configure my iptables.
as i can see, iptables on guest OS is as follow:
# Generated by iptables-save v1.4.7 on Tue Dec 31 11:32:43 2013*mangle
:PREROUTING ACCEPT [10544055:761387600]
:INPUT ACCEPT [10544055:761387600]
:FORWARD ACCEPT [0:0]
:OUTPUT ACCEPT...
well then..i haven't thought about screen...
then,about closed session,solution accepted..lol
its not the proxmox session..but proxmox shell window suddenly closed and then reconnected as if i open a new shell window...
