cannot access vm from other vm in same machine

i am wondering why..
for example, when i ping from VM 100 to 101, it works.
but when i do traceroute from vm 100 to 101, it wont work. 101 to 100 too...
why is that?
Proxmox VE Version: 3.3-2/995e687e
running with bridge VMBR0 on both VMs

PING and TRACEROUTE may be differ, depend on your VM OS.
What is your OS for VM 100 an 101?
Do you have firewall enable on both VM?

both using centos.
on 100 its just using iptables..on 101, it uses lfd configserver..

In Linux, Ping use ICMP while Traceroute use UDP. This is differ from Windows.
Try to disable CSF.

tried to disable csf, nothing happened..still cant do that..
what i trying to do is query with PHP from vm 100 to ct 101
