Going ahead to translate and read all this to fully understand (also about LVM). Willl inform as soon as I go further.
Thanks a lot!
Edit: as you said it was a directory, just deleted it without problem. Maybe when I mounted the pc I thought this way I could access files from local-lvm...
I'm afraid that's the case. I set the pc up more than two years ago, just proxmox and home assistant. Then I had a lot of job, and started to build a new house so I switched it off and forgot about it until some months ago. Then I started developing domotics for home assistant as it was most...
Yes, if I asume that erasing "Disco2" as seen in my screenshot is unmounting, but I don't really understand what "Remove" does in Datacenter/Storage. Does it unmount the Mount point or erase the content?
If it does unmount but not erase the content, that's what I want to do.
I more or less knew about RAM in linux and how it works, but I was wondering why Home Assistant counted one way and Proxmox another. Now I understand. Thank you!!
Hello. I have setup a Home Assistant VM inside proxmox with 4 GB RAM. In proxmox summary it shows:
As you can see, almost all of 4 GB used.
If I check inside Home Assistant, I see:
Which values should I listen to be sure that I have enough RAM?
Hello. When I created my system two years ago I created a mount point named "Disco2" which points to local-lvm:
I don't think I need dis mount point but I don't know how to remove it without erasing local-lvm. If I go to Datacenter-> remove will I remove contents in local-lvm?
Sorry if it's...
So root (local) should only have proxmox system files? If so I oversized it and I should resize it ( have 21 gb. used from 100 gb.)
If so I think I should move all my vms to local-lvm but I'mg getting "unable to clone mountpont 'mp0' (type bind) (500)"
Edit, now I see the problem is with...
I see I have some knowledge problems with how storage works in proxmox. I set up the system more than one year ago and I have problem understanding english wiki.
I've asked here about it. I will start with improving my storage setup and then will keep with other lxcs.
Would be very glad if you...
Hello. I have proxmox 7 working from moths ago and I want to introduce some modifications but I'm struggling with my lack of technical knowledge of english language so some of the wiki pages are very hard for me to understand.
My system has a nvme disk with 500 gb. of space which I formatted...
Wow, reading you guys I stepped reading more about the options you provided and I think I maybe was complicating too much.
What I want to do is:
- To have several hdd attached to my system, some through SATA, some through a multi-hdd enclosure and being able to access its files through all my...
Well if I can passthough video card I guess this is a beggining. I've seen nextcloud is good for my needs so I will try it and then will go for plex/jellyfin.
I will post results when I start the process.
Hello. I have a powerful system with proxmox installed and several lxc, all of them with very light resources usage: one with home assistant, another one for a wireguard server and another one for docker (for now the main resources usage due to frigate).
I want to create a vm or lxc as a NAS...
Going to create this lxc too, would like to have as less resources as possible but I am not sure to be too short on this. Could you give any clue about which resources should I give to the lxc?
Hello. I am trying to passthrough gpu from proxmox to a lxc to achieve hardware transcoding with jellyfin inside docker, but I am not able to do it.
I've edited my .conf file with the following entries:
lxc.mount.entry: /dev/dri/renderD128 dev/dri/renderD128 none bind,optional,create=file...
