Hello, We just encountered another freeze but this time the freeze was 4000 above the integer previously noticed on "2147483648". The VM froze at 2147488074. I think we now could consider that the next update of the kernel (which already launched) fixed this random freeze issue. What do you think?

Just me thinking, could It be that it is the new cpu unit default which is 100 but this should be 1024 compared to other PVE installations?

Hello, I have managed to fix it while adding the USB drive as an ntfs-3g filesystem On the node install ntfs3g with the following command: apt install ntfs-3g Then I was managed to mount the drive with mount /dev/sdXX /mnt/mountpoint Hope this helps ;)

So in short, we have a proxmox ZFS mirror some on proxmox 7.4 and some on proxmox 8. We don't have any zfsutils version above 2.1.14? Do we need to take immidiate action or are we safe with these versions?

What we would achieve is to fast backup all VM's with incremental backups in case of an disaster recovery of all vms needed. If we use let's say PM883 or PM893 SATA SSD Enterprise Grade and 1Gbit direct connection between servers would this be fast. We are now creating backups to an external HDD...
