SOLVED - Backup report emails not coming through

** SOLVED ** Google Workspace had decided that these "conversations" needed to be approved before being delivered. After going in and approving them, they fell into the inbox as suspected. Nice one Google.

SOLVED - Backup report emails not coming through

Update: The same odd behaviour happened again, S1 sent OK, S2 and S3 did not. Does anyone know where I can find and edit the mail settings so I can use an external service such as Gmail or similar?

SOLVED - Backup report emails not coming through

I have a small cluster of 3 Proxmox servers (running an ancient-but-can't-be-upgraded-right-now version 5-3-11) which, up until recently, have been sending their backup report emails every day like a good little cluster. For ease, let's call them S1, S2 and S3. However, of late and without any...

    Cluster member server died

Okay, so I went ahead and deleted it (it doesn't work etc so not going to make it any worse!) I then logged into node2's web GUI and the cluster "Join information" was now clickable. Clicked it, copied the data, switched to Node1's web GUI Datacentre > Cluster > Join, pasted the info in but got...

    Cluster member server died

... and if there is, am I safe to just rm -r it?

    Cluster member server died

First off, thanks for this, I had a look and tried the first command, expecting to see all 3 nodes listed but instead, I saw this: root@Node2-Supermicro:~# pvecm nodes Membership information ---------------------- Nodeid Votes Name 2 1 Node2-Supermicro (local)...

    Cluster member server died

Hello As per the title, we have a setup comprising of 3 "node" servers (call them node1, node2 and node3). Node1 suffered a hardware failure which resulted in me needing to re-install Proxmox from the ground up. I have done this, reconfigured it and I can access the web GUI etc. On the...

Unable to install 6.2 from USB

Okay, re-imaging the USB pen drive in DD mode seems to have done the trick. Thanks to both for your prompt and helpful replies!!

Unable to install 6.2 from USB

@sarathi - I am sure it was in DD mode buut I will re-burn it to make sure, it's hardly a difficult job. Watch this space for an update on that. @Hannes Laimer I will do the above first and then check out that thread (I must admit I did a cursory search of these forums but was pretty lazy...

Unable to install 6.2 from USB

I downloaded the ISO from the Proxmox site and then used Windows Rufus to "burn" to the memory stick (also, forgot to say thank you for the prompt replies!)

Unable to install 6.2 from USB

The BIOS is set to Boot Mode "DUAL" (I haven't really seen this option before, normally just LEGACY or UEFI). Like I said, it boots to the "Select install method" menu from the USB drive no problem, it's only after I select "Install Proxmox VE" from that menu that I get the problem :(

Unable to install 6.2 from USB

The server boots from the USB drive OK and I select "Install Proxmox VE" from the list, it clears the screen then starts "searching for block device containing the ISO proxmox-ve-6.2-1" before finally reporting "no cdrom found". Which is right. I'm not installing from CD, I'm installing from...
