Is ProxMox doing anything after VMware disaster?

Thanks for your feedback. Of course, again and again the same requests and questions regarding 24/7 directly from Proxmox arises. But this does not mean that we should change a 16 years old proven support ecosystem (with partners) just because of this. We work like this, because its the very...

Is ProxMox doing anything after VMware disaster?

If you quote me, please do it right. I talked about commercial license issues, e.g. the license expired bug years ago with VMware. Your assumptions that we do all wrong (including our support offerings) is sometimes quite weird.

Is ProxMox doing anything after VMware disaster?

99.9 % do not need 24/7, but if you really think you need it, just go for it. We at Proxmox do not deliver this directly but some of our partner can help here. Just to add: If you run a closed source product like VMware you need 24/7, as you cannot even start a VM if you have any license...

If you want features or bugs fixes, you need to talk to the developers, best by filing your request into https://bugzilla.proxmox.com I am a moderator here, and you are on a good way to get blocked as you ignore basic rules in our community.

Really? You request features but you reject to file them so that devs can take a look on it. => Your posts are just a big waste of time.

I have come across a commercial product that appears to have similar code to Proxmox VE.

I am pretty sure that the Proxmox Community is not that interested splitting the Community and supporting third party forks (by sharing links) some of them do not even comply with our copyrights.

Do not get me wrong, I appreciate your idea to develop add-on for Proxmox Backup Server. But as you already posted a lot of similar basic questions already (without progress on your side), so I have growing doubts that this will be a great success soon, as you have very limited knowledge about...
