Yes 8GB is probably the issue. ZFS requires lots of memory to be optimal. So if you have 8GB memory, about 50%/4GB is usually reserved for ZFS. I recommend trying again with regular ext4, or adding an extra 8GB ram.

I am running latest pve-nosubscription with PVE 5.1-41, and no problems with Firefox or Chrome on Windows 10. There's a little bug with MS Edge where it doesn't show upload % when transferring an ISO file, but other than that, it works fine. Are you running the web browser thru a proxy?

As far as BSOD, does it affect only Windows 10/2016 (using Win10/2016 VM setting)? I updated a Dell T300 server last night to latest pve-nosubscription with kernel 4.13.8 and rebooted. So far no BSOD on my Win2008SBS VM (Vista/2008 VM setting) on LVM/Latest Stable VirtIO drivers.
