    Welche Proxmox und VM Installation/Konfiguration?

Tja, ich sehe nichts, was "kein Snapshot möglich" begründen würde. (Was aber eben nichts heißen muss...)

    (A) Empfehlung: einfach neu installieren.

ZFS rpool degraded from IO write

No, not specific ones, only a generic one: have a (validated) backup before starting that adventure. My mentioned approach to add two drives additionally is so valuable (from my point of view) that you may buy two USB-to-SATA adapters. They are cheap nowadays. While I can not recommend...

    Bad Disk Performance

I have no specific recommendation, but I a good starting point: use a search engine which allows filtering for PLP For example (German): https://geizhals.de/?cat=hdssd&xf=4643_Power-Loss+Protection

    Migrate ZFS to Ceph?

The usual minimum for Ceph is "size=3,min_size=2". This talks about Nodes, not OSDs as the "failure domain" is (of course) "host". This means you will store each and every data block three times = one time on each host. The usable space is obviously one third of all space on all OSDs...

~# apt show zram-tools Description: utilities for working with zram zram is a Linux kernel module that allows you to set up compressed filesystems in RAM. . zram-tools uses this module to set up compressed swap space. This is useful on systems with low memory or servers running a large...

ZFS rpool degraded from IO write

Shrinking a pool is somewhat difficult. You can not attach a smaller device to an existing vdev; a vdev here means a single drive or an existing mirror. Of course there are ways to replace a large rpool with smaller devices. But that's tedious and requires several intermediate steps. In an...

ZFS rpool degraded from IO write

Your "smart.txt" look fine - for me. Look at 5, 177, 179, 187. Unfortunately they are not really well defined and effectively Vendor specific. Your "179 Used_Rsvd_Blk_Cnt_Tot PO--C- 100 100 010 - 0" tells me (without re-reading the documentation) there is 100 % still available...

[SOLVED] Issue with a node on a different network

Just guessing: make sure that hostname resolution works correctly. Usually by maintaining a consistent /etc/hosts, containing your tunnel addresses of the named hosts. "ssh nameofpve1" + "ssh nameofpve2" + "ssh nameofpve3" must work on all three nodes without asking for a password.

ZFS rpool degraded from IO write

I have seen this on several hosts. On the first time I just look at SMART and usually go with "scrub + clear" - after physically checking cabling and connectors. On the second time I prepare for a replacement. The decision to actually replace the disk depends on the situation, of course... To...

[HELP] System not fully up to date (found 1 new packages)

A fragment of Ubuntu does not belong to Bookworm/PVE. Personally I would really work hard to avoid third party repositories on the host.

ZFS rpool degraded from IO write

"Enterprise class" (with PLP) gives us two features: it guarantees that data written asynchronously will actually be written if power fails - this enhances data integrity it allows to enable a local write-buffer for sync-writes which would be needed to actually written to disk immediately...

Kritischer Bug in CEPH Squid: betroffen alle cluster mit EC pools

Autsch!

[SOLVED] Performance comparison between ZFS and LVM

I do not know "HPE MR416i-a Gen10+". As long as it has "HBA/IT-Mode" to allow direct access to the physical disks, it should work fine.

    Incorrect drive readings?

Yes. Extraordinary fine, which is suspicious in itself. But yeah, no indication of trouble in sight... Personally I would keep them running - under two preconditions: with redundancy and without actual "mission critical" data. (And with 3-2-1 automatic backups of course.)
