The problem is the change from usleep to pthread in Suricata v6.
vjulien is currently looking into this at:
https://forum.suricata.io/t/cpu-usage-of-version-6-0-0/706/18
During installation of a new server the installation of v7.0.1 hangs at 3% "creating lv"
Did another install with v6.4.1 and it works out of the box.
This is a SuperMicro X11, 64Gb with 4Tb AHCI SATA WD.
Hi Thomas,
Thanks for looking into this, the "problem" with backups is that when you let the backup keep three versions, the oldest will always be deleted.
If I want to keep one, I will have to rename it, changing a description won't help as the backup will still automaticly delete it.
Or...
Another feature request for renaming Backups and ISO's from the GUI.
That way you can keep some backups more easily without using SSH login or rename strangly named ISO's to more convenient ones.
(I know this can be done before uploading, but sometimes things already uploaded need renaming).
Thank you!
Did the purge:
root@host:~# apt purge insserv sysv-rc initscripts openrc
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
The following packages were automatically installed and are no longer required:
libeinfo1 librc1
Use 'apt autoremove'...
Just did an apt-get update && apt-get dist-upgrade this morning getting a message I have to reboot immediately, not sure what to do...
Should I reboot, or remove sysv-rc etc. first ?
apt -f install
apt purge insserv sysv-rc initscripts
apt update && apt full-upgrade
Here is the log from the...
Thank you. Your guess was right:
systemctl mask ctrl-alt-del.target
Created symlink /etc/systemd/system/ctrl-alt-del.target → /dev/null.
Problem was CTRL+ALT+DELETE could also be pressed (and rebooting the server) in the login screen. This fixed it.
This has already been answered for an old version of Proxmox. How can this be done on a newer (5.x) version?
Old thread: https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/remove-magic-button-ctrl-alt-del.2196/
I tried to synchronise two backups by adding two snapshot backups of two virtual machines in the same host at the same time.
But vmbackup is still waiting for the first one to complete. Is it possible to "synchronise" a backup?
The last one I got working is the 100 one:
https://fedorapeople.org/groups/virt/virtio-win/direct-downloads/archive-virtio/virtio-win-0.1.100/virtio-win-0.1.100.iso
Did not test 101 to 104, but 105-110 isn't working anymore.
Same error. Wasn't OpenVZ removed from 4.0? If so then this is probably a leftover from a 3.x to 4.x upgrade and the /etc/init.d/vz file could be removed.
But maybe it's still needed for converting OpenVZ to LXC?
No the system isn't idle. I have VM's running, but as you can see they don't use much IO
Do you have any idea why the slog device isn't used? Strange thing is that I added the SLOG with:
"scsi-SATA_INTEL_SSDSC2BA2BTHV50530396200MGN-part1" and now it shows up as...
Here is the first output, FSYNC was even worse.
