Hi,
A possible stupid question but I would ask anyway...
I have one proxmox node running Tesla P40 GPU.
I recently bought a Tiny PC that I am planning to run Proxmox on and join as a cluster.
Can I pass Node 1's GPU to any VM's that I build on Node 2 (Mini PC)?
I do have Nvidia's Grid license...
Sorry back again, I tried with a VLAN let's say VLAN10 with an IP interface in the range of 10.152.152.1/18. but still can't get workstation to talk to gateway. Could you share a picture or the bridge you created on Proxmox pls?
Much appreciated
I think it's time to configure and find out if it works with pfSense VLAN...just need to make sure I don't apply an IP interface on this VLAN.
TVM for your time. Appreciate it
I already have pfSense managing my network using different VLANs. I can get internet access in a completely isolated VLAN for both gateway and the workstation. or create a bridge in pfSense...any thoughts?
I agree, but you could try to have normal /24 network and it should work...??
I am also...
please share their specs...may be their qemu machine configs?
Why the gateway needs two NICs? what are each of their purpose?
again if you could share your VM specs with some explanation. I should be able to try it out myself.
what are the key take aways around local network settings?
Cheers...
Hi,
I was thinking to check out the WHONIX on proxmox.
They have a KVM install.
I was wondering if anyone already has tried setting it up and if there are any tips on setting it up?
Cheers
Hi,
My system crashed and had to re-install proxmox.
My existing VM's were stored on a different disk as shown below:
I wish to restore those VMs using these `raw` files.
I have created a VM with the same `VMID`
I tried to attach those raw files to it by:
qm importdisk 201...

Hi,
I have a windows VM running with Nvidia vgpu profile.
if I do hidden=1, the VM loads but Qemu guest agent doesn't work I think because I can't see it getting an IP address. And because of this problem, I can't use parsec/moonlight to login to the machine.
Any ideas how to hide the fact...
but I shouldn't have ZFS from one NVME. I am not splashing out another £390 for an enterprise just to have a ZFS mirror for homelab ;)
Any suggestions then?
This NVME is to run PostgreSQL and host Proxmox VMs.
I have gone with performance so LVM-Thin...
Datacenter -> Node -> Disks -> LVM-thin -> Create Thin pool
It will be a classic backup strategy to make sure I don't loose data :)
As always, Thanks for your input! Learnt a lot from you.
