When we create a VM on the pxe, the harddisk for the machine shows as LVM volume when doing "lsblk". The thing is it is not mounted, thus it is not visible to the Debian (host OS). My question is, how come it is not mounted but used by the KVM?

I am trying to understand how proxmox deals with the following scenario:
assume I have a local ZFS-pool and I am about to create a centos VM on that pool. Will that be feasible? given that centos can't be isntalled on zfs file systems. IF that is possible how is proxmox doing it under the hood?
I see you mean in the storage.cfg and it makes total sense since debian has no idea what the storage.cfg is and how important it is for proxmox.
One final question though.
If I am to replicate zfs pools between the cluster nodes and turn that flag on all the nodes "add storage" it will not...

I am trying to figure out what does the "Add Storage” checkbox" exactly do? what happens if I check it and what happens if I donot ?
I can see it available in each and every storage.
