Try to boot with "nomodeset" appended to the linux commandline EDIT: Start the CD, once in menu hit "e", then change the line "linux ..." and append nomodeset

Do you have IPv6 @ Home and on the proxmox subdomain? If yes that wont work atm.

I think your iso is corrupted, for me the howto works.

Replace the enterprise repo with pve-no-subscription https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Package_Repositories if you have no subscription.

Hmm you could try to boot an Ubuntu Desktop Live Version and see if it works with that (use the latest available it contains ZFS). If so, you could then mount the pve root chroot in it upgrade and see if it works after.
