You may be right, I am trying to see if there something wrong in my grub configuration, I was able to see the pcie_acs_override option applied only by editing directly nano /etc/kernel/cmdline
root=/dev/mapper/pve-root ro quiet intel_iommu=on iommu=pt initcall_blacklist=sysfb_init...
I was able previously to do that before by using pcie_acs_override but now it seems that it is not compiled in the kernel anymore. It would be interesting to know the official position on that and if there is a "poor man" solution, like recompiling the kernel with pcie_acs_override patches...
I have a proxmox server and I want to allow the two gpus to be used on separate vm but i can't because they happen to fall under the same iommu group:
IOMMU Group 0:
00:00.0 Host bridge [0600]: Intel Corporation 8th/9th Gen Core 8-core Desktop Processor Host Bridge/DRAM Registers [Coffee...
after more tries, by disabling the LastPass password manager I was able to login.
By enabling the plugin the problem comes back, so I can say it is consistent
I have just two and after having them disabled still does not work.
I then I have also flushed the cache, same result. No errors but warnings, yet cannot login
I have always been able to use the web gui but lately (I don't know if for a browser or proxmox update) I cannot login using Brave. I can login using Safari.
One Brave I got the following console messages:

I have three of them, I can move elsewhere what still remains and use them for a new pool, ideally a stripe mirror so I could increase the overall write speed. When I had chosen to make a raidz1-0 I was thinking that would have been working that way. Otherwise could be worth it to add one and...
Thanks for your suggestions, for the hardware I cannot invest a lot, I don't have any critical data and all my work gets anyway backed up. Following your valuable suggestion I configured a simple raid1 with the two NVME drives and any hiccups seem to be gone.
Now I would like to keep using the...
I have a running environment which I use to run also MacOs.
Sometimes the guest VM freezes and does not respond for some seconds, trying to see what happens I have found the following indication by looking in atop:
So it seems that one device of the pool gets busy, this is the pool...
I was in the process of updating my machine and I got this question:
I must say that I have replaced my boot disk.
This should be my boot disk:
Disk /dev/nvme1n1: 465.76 GiB, 500107862016 bytes, 976773168 sectors
Disk model: CT500P1SSD8
Units: sectors of 1 * 512 = 512 bytes
Sector size...
I have followed this steps to move my pve to a larger disk but I was lost because this was my situation on a 500Gb nvme disk:
root@proxmox:~# fdisk -l /dev/nvme1n1
Disk /dev/nvme1n1: 465.76 GiB, 500107862016 bytes, 976773168 sectors
Disk model: CT500P1SSD8
Units: sectors of 1 * 512 = 512 bytes...
I am installing for the first time proxmox. I have a machine on which I am currently running Macos. That Os is running on a 500 GB nvme ssd. I have then 3 Tb sata HD which I would like to use for backups. I have added a new 1 Tb nvme ssd and two sata 1 Tb ssd which I would like to dedicate to a...
