Hi,
I am running proxmox version 4, on debian 8.
we are running a one to one NAT e.g public > internal ip behind a cisco firewall
The host /etc/network/interface looks like this.
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback
auto vmbr0
iface vmbr0 inet static

Basically we have a live ct which we need to run some backups on, We are not sure if it's stable enough to take backups, I think / heard 2.1 the snapshot stopped / slowed the container down causing the site to go down. We have a near enough mirror of the live site (staging site) that is running...
Hi,
Are we still able to download proxmox 2.1?
I done a quick google search and everything links be back to proxmox site which gives a 404 error.
Reason for this, we are currently in the process of moving to a later version of proxmox but we required to do some local testing within the...
Hi Tom,
Thanks for the response so far. I guess the problem is the snapshot is bigger then 4096mb? I have set the size to 4096mb (max the system can do) and this still fails. I guess there is nothing else I can do other then increase the file system?
The server came from ovh.co.uk as pre...
Hi Tom,
Thanks for this, yes full snapshots, I had a quick look at the /etc/vzdump.conf and it's all set to default so size is default to 1024? from what I read.
I've read through this thread http://forum.proxmox.com/threads/12390-vzdump-conf-tweaking-backups-failing
also run...

Hi,
I wonder if someone could help,
I currently have a nas with OVH (1tb) which is connected via a private ip 10.*.*.* address, the Share works fine within the container but we are moving away from the nas to one of the backup servers they offer.
I have installed nfs server on the...
Thanks for this, i've now run the first 2, cluster and daemon, both have fixed the issue. proxy didn't exist as a server.
Many thanks for your help and merry xmas and happy new year.
Sorry, I should have said
df -h
/dev/fuse 30M 24K 30M 1% /etc/pve
so using 24k of 30m partition
The only partition close to being full is /var/lib/vz at 88% the
reason behind this is we run a backup of a qemu at 1am, and it can't write the lock file to run the back up. on...
Hi Guys,
Just a quick question, I'm getting input / output errors on /etc/pve aka /dev/fuse.
This server is a single server not a node / cluster or anything. If i did /etc/init.d/pve-cluster restart what would happen, baring in mind this is a live server with live vm's that I can not take...
