Ok. I've found my mistake. After grub recovery, you should reset your zfs mountpoint to /: zfs set mountpoint=/ rpool/ROOT/pve-1 This solved.

I've solved this step, the installation should be aborted after License accept. I've recovered grub, but after reboot I get an error like this: filesystem 'rpool/ROOT/pve-1' cannot be mounted at '/root//mnt' due to canonicalization error 2. Do you have some hints? Bruno

It worked fine. The important thing is, when upgrading nodes, is to do an apt-get update && apt-get upgrade to get PVE 2.3 before following the upgrade procedure from 2.3 to 3.1. Missing the intermediate upgrade will lead to great problems, with the need to backup and reinstall the whole node...
