I'm having an issue with my ProxMox server, where if I run a Minecraft (MC) server in a VM for others to join, players that join the MC server cause the ProxMox server to completely lose all internet connection, needing to be restarted to restore connection. The MC server logs show that the connection is seemingly strained, so I'm thinking it may be related to my CPU not being able to process the information exchange fast enough, but I am of course here because I have no idea. The ProxMox server has no information on what happens during this time, only saying "Unexpected Status".

CPU: Intel Core i5-3470 @1600MHz
Graphics: Intel Xeon E3-1200 v2/3rd Gen Core Processor Graphics ---- Driver: i915
Network: Intel 82579LM Gigabit Network ---- Driver: e1000e
RAM: 24GB

Ok i found the CPU:

My be you know this facts:

As Proxmox VE Server i will go with a Ryzen B550 System, with a Ryzen 7 5700x 8C/ 16T or higher CPU for virtualisation.
min 32 GB DDR4 Ram, better are 64 GB DDR4 Ram.
In this days 2,5 GBit/s NIC (i.g. Realtec) are common and easy to use. More Speed with 10 GBit/s NIC can be better for accessing your service.

yah, Proxmox VE perse need 2 CPU Core, the intern and extern Connection and the SATA III ? SSDs or HDDs need also CPU Core.
Your CPU is very old, Started in Q2'12 and has only 4 cpu core.
I run a Intel® CoreTM i7-4770 Prozessor with 16 GB DDR3 only as Proxmox VE NAS with ZFS and SSD and HDD disks.

Did you check your hotspots, change on all thermal chips the Thermal paste?

Yes for 2.5 GBit/s you can user CAT 5e Cable
# https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category_5_cable

You can get other more powerfull hardware an check your problems against this new setup.

The ProxMox server has no information on what happens during this time, only saying "Unexpected Status".
When you click on the ">" arrow visible at the very right side of your screenshot, isn't there more information than already visible "unexpected status"?
