Hi all,
I am still rather new to PVE and try to figure out some things (and how to scale those). One of them is:
What is the best way to create custom reports for settings/configuration/vm/... ?
In particular, I did a lot of individual adjustments (to VMs or settings) after testing one or the other thing.
Example:
I just recently added some replications for both (some) VM and (some) LXC with different settings.
Now I want to view replication settings and status across all VM and LXC that are running on my cluster.
(and I guess there are a few dozen different use cases...)
For sure, I could login through ssh and issue some isolated cli commands to gather all the required/desired information.
But what is YOUR preferred way to get this kind of info?
Did I miss something in the documentation? Are there third party tools available? Or even something coming via PVE or PDM natively?
Any scripts that might help to generate reports ad-hoc based on inputs? Gathering data via ansible or similar?
As outlined above: Not an issue; information can be collected via multiple ways I guess.
Just want to know about your preferred ways and ideas for said task.
Cheers,
Fuegas
