Hello,
I'm facing difficulties creating a new sync task.
Any ideas? There is a sync task between these two servers already that works just fine but it goes to a different pool on the destination server.
root@ha1:~# pve-zsync sync --source localhost:102 --dest 192.168.20.169:HA2-LF/seafile2...
Hey thanks!
The ownership of the files in 004f are from a completely different user. The strange thing is that this user doesn't even have access to this folder.
Time for some more digging. Thank-you for the pointer.
Hello,
I'm getting permission errors when trying to run a new backup or do a manual garbage collect. I've compared the folder/file permissions with a different user that works but I don't see any difference.
Any advise?

Is this something that will be changed in the the future perhaps? We don't have our backups in the same datacenter but do have a stable VPN tunnel between the two datacenters.

Hello,
I'm having an odd issue with one of our servers. I replaced one of the disks because it was bad but the new one keeps giving SMART errors as well.
When doing an short or extended manual test I don't see these errors at all. Could it be cached from the failed drive (which was also sdb)...
I've decided to do a complete re-install as soon as the zfs snapshots are done copying to an external drive.
Nothing seems to be working correctly anymore and I don't want to waste your time on this since it's not a productional server.
I've been looking through the forums to see how to recover...
Hi Guys,
I've been working on our internal system and have messed things up quite bad.
I accidentally added the 'buster' repository to my stretch installation and then updated all packages.
When rebooting an error comes up: zpool: symbol lookup error: /lib/libzfs.so.2: undefined symbol...

After beeing in contact with the proxmox team I went with pve-zsync instead. It does require a manual action to turn on the VM on the other side though. I made a small webpage for my collegues to enable the VM in case our main location...
Hi Guys,
I'm currently setting up a non critical server with two consumer SSD's.
Could you please advise if the best way is to go with ZFS raid 1 or with mdadm raid 1?
I've been looking through the forums but cannot find any (recent) information regarding trim with zfs.
