Trim support in combination with ZFS?

Hi Guys,

I'm currently setting up a non critical server with two consumer SSD's.
Could you please advise if the best way is to go with ZFS raid 1 or with mdadm raid 1?

I've been looking through the forums but cannot find any (recent) information regarding trim with zfs.

Hi,

ZFS will support trim on dev level with the upcoming Version 0.8.0.
MD Raid is generally not supported by Proxmox and also not recommended.

Trim is today only a performance thing because all modern SSD controller can handle it internally.
