Okay, when I did this post I couldn't figure out... but what nobody tells is the following: (for future reference)
1) When cloning your disk to a new one you need to reboot and open gparted live CD
2) right click the partition > deactivate
3) right click partition > check
4) apply
5) activate...
Hi Guys,
Just clonezilla'd my old SSD with broken connector to a new NVME drive.
Was Legacy but after clone it went full UEFI, HBA stopped working blabla everything okay now :)
But, the only thing which still is a problem, can't get to figure out why I still only have 240 GB ssd space on the...
It's quite possible it could be an OS thing. The driver in use is VFIO-PCI so the virtual driver is in use. I do think truenas needs the storage pool to be disconnected before any attempt to mount after a shutdown?
Yes it could, no you shouldn't. with 2gb of ram on an old i5. (given the little information I guess it's an original).
You need to enable virtualization in bios in order to get it to work.
Please could you provide a little more information?

Hi,
I am using proxmox for several years now, and passing through a PCi-e device always works.
But how do I release a device which is used by a guest (without rebooting)?
I have a HP H240 in Jbod mode, but I can't re-use it in another guest when the first guest is stopped.
Anyone a clue...
Hi All,
I can't figure out how to get my SMB share automount with the fstab inside of LXC.
I have several LXC running with automount shares, but I can't get one specific LXC (new) to automount.
Tried:
/share /folder cifs...
Unfortunately that doesn't work. I will have to reboot next time. Thanks for your support!
For other forum users searching for the same.
The following command could help:
echo "1" > /sys/bus/pci/devices/$NUMBER/reset
I did not put the id in that file. Put the card in this morning and passed it to my freenas. It did not work for some reason and wanted to figure that out. Could get the card back until reboot so want to figure that out even more haha .
It's a PCI-e HBA, I have blacklisted video drivers in the past and followed this tutorial: https://www.reddit.com/r/homelab/comments/b5xpua/the_ultimate_beginners_guide_to_gpu_passthrough/?utm_source=amp&utm_medium=&utm_content=post_body
Which includes the following blacklists:

Hey Guys,
I have a question which I think is a stupid one to ask, but I can't get to find the answer to it.
How can I get a passed through device back to the host when the guest is no longer using it?
I know a power cycle helps, but that isn't nifty
Thanks in advance!
Dennis
