Hi,
We use for some years proxmox on cluster of dell m610 blade servers with no trouble.
We plan to order dell R720 to create a small cluster of 3 nodes to store some vm out of our SAN architecture.
Anyone can confirm it's utilization/performance with proxmox 3 ?
* For local storage we plan to...
First, thks for this release !!!
I have a question about storage live migration....
Can i use it to move vm's disks from LVM VolumeGroup to another LVM VolumeGroup ?
We plan to change our storage array which host proxmox kvm vms using shared LVM.
The idea is to mount new LUN from new storage...
ok,
looking the repo i saw there is many update.
Is the problem related to the new libpve-common-perl ?
If i update, is there any impact on my running vms ?
Thks for your help.
hi all,
We use here proxmox 2.2 on 9 clusterized nodes.
After one week of production all seems ok but for two days now we have a problem with the gui.
Logged on the gui, 8 nodes are shown down (appears in red) and the linked vms too.
Only two nodes are shown up...
But logged via ssh on each...
Here we use only kvm for production.
We run mostly linux Centos vm, Windows vm and some Freebsd appliance.
openvz is used to test quickly some web applications provides as template.
all seems ok with the pvetest repository.....
The migration work like a charm...
Have you any idea about the problem ?
We plan massive upgrade of our infrastructure from 1.9 to 2.1 next week.
Reading some posts i saw the next release 2.2 will be out shortly.
Is it possible to use pvetest for...
We have migrated to proxmox 2.2 on two nodes.
Now all is ok !!
There are some packets loss but no loss of connexions.
I'm the alone user to have this problem in 2.1 ?
Yes i understand some pings can be losts but the strange behavior is it seems the guest is suspended.....
We use Avaya switchs 56xx xith bonding and vlan tagging.
Thks for your help
I will test it and get back with result.
Do you think i can migrate only two nodes of my cluster in test and continue to use other nodes for production......
Making live migration on our new proxmox cluster provide a lot of packet loss.
If we ping the vm from an outside host we lost ten packets during migration.
If we ping an external machine from the vm we can see the ping stop send packets during migration.
But after migration, ping send packets...
