Now the issue is sorted. I was creating the disk for the VM in my NAS server instead of the local LVM. After changing the disk storage location to local LVM, the problem was fixed. Thanks.

I am trying to install Ubuntu 22.04 as VM in Proxmox. getting an error "failed to create file system" in the partition creation stage. Tried with several different settings in VM but with no success.
