I did not know that. I always thought once you Set how many cores and memory to a VM it's locked to that vm. I did not know you can share the same cores to another vm if it's not using all them cores.

hello, I have setup a VM with windows 10 on it. But if I go into the task manager it shows up as a common KVM processor. Is there a way to change that? I have a program I run that can not run because it doesn't know which processor is on there?

Hello I figure it out after so many pages online searching I had to find my name for my Ethernet card and change it in the /etc/network/interfaces. Then I rebooted and came back now it and is online. Thank you all

Hello my motherboard die on me. I had to move my drive with Proxmox to a new motherboard. However when I tried to get network nothing was showing up not even the network leds are on. When I type in ip addr I’m getting the ip that I assign to it with the old motherboard. Im unsure what to do...
Hello All, What I mange to did back then was bought a USB 32GB ssd it was cheap back then. And used that as my proxmox drive. and use the two sata ports for 2 320GB drives. The system had build in raid anduse them drives as my VM drives.
I still use this system up to this day.

Hello, Everyone Thank you all for the information and Help. What I Did at that time I have bought a 64GB usb SSD. and I took my 2 Hard drives raidded them together as one drive. It all works and still running up to this day. Thank you all for the help.
