Feature Request: Do not have a default value for Target Node on VM migration

Do not have a default value for Target Node on VM migration. It's way too easy to forget to select a node and end up migrating to the wrong host. Maybe I'm just old and forgetful and should pay closer attention, but I will be interested to see if this gets any attention from the community. Side...

Adding a cluster node with Shared LVM/iSCSI and multipath

What is the proper set of steps to add a new node to a cluster when using shared LVM over iSCSI and multipath? I have had mixed results with this. I've been migrating my servers from ESXi to Promox one at a time. Adding the first 2 nodes to the initial Proxmox host cluster went fine, But the...

    [SOLVED] LXC Netmask strangeness

SOLVED: I discovered that there was a dhcpcd5 package installed inside the container in addition to the standard isc-dhcp-client and isc-dhcp-common. After removing dhcpcd5, everything started to behave as expected.

    [SOLVED] LXC Netmask strangeness

This is getting more strange. I reconfigured the container to use DHCP just to see what would happen. Now it shows the DHCP assigned address and still shows the static 192.168.99.40/32 root@proxmox$ pct config 140 arch: amd64 cores: 1 hostname: pihole memory: 512 net0...

    [SOLVED] LXC Netmask strangeness

In the container config file I have net0: name=eth0,bridge=vmbr0,firewall=0,gw=192.168.99.1,hwaddr=56:C9:75:FB:4E:8F,ip=192.168.99.40/24,type=veth But in the container, I get root@pihole:~# ip addr show dev eth0 43: eth0@if44: <BROADCAST,MULTICAST,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 1500 qdisc noqueue state UP...

    "Use MX" checkbox under "Transports"

Can I get a clarification? I am interpreting "use a DNS name as Host" to mean, use the mail domain name as Host, not an actual server hostname, when ticking "Use MX". Is that correct?

    Default config template breaks PostgreSQL

Actually my system is properly configured for America/Chicago (/etc/timezone and /etc/localtime). Logging timestamps don't necessarily reflect system time zones. The fact remains that /var/lib/pmg/templates/postgresql.conf.in contains config parameters that are not compatible with postgresql...

    Default config template breaks PostgreSQL

Version: 5.2-2 in /var/lib/pmg/templates/postgresql.conf.in there are two timezone related parameters (timezone and log_timezone) with the default value of 'localtime'. When running without modification the PostgreSQL service fails to start. 2019-05-14 20:21:08.941 GMT [745] LOG: invalid...

DNSBL is not working as well as expected

I am seeing URIBL tags in quarantined emails, so it seems to be working. I think I just need to work on my collection of black list providers. Thanks.

DNSBL is not working as well as expected

We have Windows DNS as part of Active Directory. A sample query from the mailgateway command line seems to work just fine. I think I just need more blacklist sources if I am correct on the meaning of the threshold number above.

DNSBL is not working as well as expected

Maybe I figured this out. Does DNSBL Threshold of 1 mean that there must be 2 BL positives to count as spam?

DNSBL is not working as well as expected

I have DNSBL Sites set to b.barracudacentral.org,zen.spamhaus.org with DNSBL Threshold set to 1. Yet we continue to get spam from IP addresses that, according to mxtoolbox.com are on one or both of those lists. We are seeing a lot of spammers out there now that have legitimate DKIM and SPF, so...

    Greylisting and order of operations

One thing that would help is being able to whitelist a server domain. Not the sender domain, but the server farm domain. Greylisting works poorly with server farms because the sending server is often random. In particular, our customers that use Microsoft hosted services suffer from this. If I...
