Proxmox won't install... it's looking for a disk... it's unclear which disk it's looking for (ISO).

How are you booting the installer? DVD? USB? Ventoy?

Besides, any specific reason why you install 8.4 instead of 9.2?

i use usb, try to install it on ventoy, rufus, uboontin.. i install 8.4, 9.1, 9.2

Hi,

please try writing the ISO to the flash drive in a method described in our admin guide: https://pve.proxmox.com/pve-docs/pve-admin-guide.html#installation_prepare_media

So best would be to just use plain dd. Ventoy is known to be troublesome, and things like unetbootin won't work either.
Also please verify the checksum of the downloaded ISO, and maybe try another flash drive (they can go bad quickly).

Providing information about your hardware can be helpful too.

Have you tried to live boot debian standalone without installer? Have you checked your boot method settings and or ahci/ide settings via boot?

Why flash drive, can’t you just mount the ISO in the iDRAC as a virtual device?
