Hi All,
If the customer's environment is completely isolated,
and Proxmox cannot access the internet, what methods are available for updating?
If using the Proxmox ISO file or copying it to a USB drive for mounting, but in cases where Ceph or OVS networking is present, is it only possible to update using standalone update files?

https://pom.proxmox.com/ is the recommended way to handle such situations. it allows mirroring all the required repositories, and transferring the repositories and subscription information using an offline medium to the air-gapped systems.

Hi @fabian ,
Thank you for your replay,
I've done labs with Proxmox offline mirrors, but I know this method still requires a machine with internet access to download packages, which Proxmox then connects to for updates. However, if my environment is completely isolated with no internet access, how can I update? Currently, the only solution I can think of is updating via the Proxmox ISO, but the Proxmox ISO doesn't seem to include installation packages for Ceph and OVS.

You can run POM on any (Debian) machine, i.e. outside of your airgapped lab.

Then you create a Offline Media, such as a USB flash drive (or some network protocol like NFS) to actually transfer/use the mirrored repository on the target system.
