GUI Summary: state of Guest Agent is not shown any more

Promox version: 1.4-17

I have noticed that in VM Summary the state of Guest Agent is not shown any more. Previously it was there. How can we activate it to be shown again?

There should be possibility to see if Gueast Agent is running from GUI.
 
Are you sure you posted in the right subforum?

Is the Proxmox (VE?) really version 1.4??

Do you mean the "IP" row where it either shows a "No guest agent configured" or the IP addresses of the guest?

Is the guest agent running in the VM?
 
Okay. AFAIR the guest agent message is only shown if it was either not enabled (immediately) or if the guest agent is not responding (after a few moments).
If the IP is shown, the guest agent is working. This is not a primary indication for the guest agent, but to show the guest's IPs. Which only works if the guest agent delivers that info :)
