Tried adding a usb 3.1 gen 1 hard drive ( ZFS ) in single drive mode , and get a constant stream of error message when reading or writing to the drive, not sure if it AMD Ryzen 7 5700G related a bad driver / set up etc.
I'm on the latest version 8.0.3 upgraded from version 7.4 ? , tried adding the same drive to my other node running on a intel j4125 , no errors , so it is only with usb and only on the AMD system , any ideas .

Did you upgrade your BIOS to the latest version? The Ryzens had lot of USB stability/connection problems and some of them got fixed by newer microcode.

there is 2 bios updates for my deskmini x300 both say beta , I think I may just reformat and start again OR try that on a spare disk and see if that fixes it , and if it still get errors I know there is no point in nuking my system .
