You can add other repositories (including the Proxmox repositories) to the unattended-upgrades: https://www.howtoforge.com/automatic-updates-debian-ubuntu/#add-repository

Thanks, yes, I added it like this, however my question to the Proxmox team was more about if there are other options for updating (as if adding the PMG repository to the UI for e.g. non-subscription on no subscription) it is stating, that updates are encountered, however, nothing is telling about if there are any autoupdates, notifies or sth. else or the only mechanism is unattended upgrade. However, I got confirmation, that your addition is correct as I wasn’t aware, if I need to add e.g. archive stable to avoid testing packages.
