Hi,

I have a cluster with 2 nodes and one SAN and now i am adding a new node(V 1.7) and everything look OK just only when i login to the new node(by ip)
When i click the storage i get: [2790]ERR: 24: Error in Perl code: command '/sbin/vgchange -aly sanName' failed with exit code 5

What is the issue here?

Sorry my bad, i see that the iscsi is not active but i don't see why?
Other nodes have the same cluster.cfg but are working OK, this node has the same connections but still it is not active, any idea's?

Cannot be, i went trough all the steps on the SAN and all the settings are the same as the the other 2 nodes.

Well i removed the node from the cluster and tried to connect the iscsi manually but no luck.
When i try to add an iscsi target it eventually ads it but it is not active and the volume ID is just empty. At the same time the SAN shows the following in the event log:
Connection terminated unexpectedly and iqn........... Session terminated unexpectedly .

The server verion is 1.7:

pve-manager: 1.7-11 (pve-manager/1.7/5470)
running kernel: 2.6.32-4-pve
proxmox-ve-2.6.32: 1.7-30
pve-kernel-2.6.32-4-pve: 2.6.32-30
qemu-server: 1.1-28
pve-firmware: 1.0-10
libpve-storage-perl: 1.0-16
vncterm: 0.9-2
vzctl: 3.0.24-1pve4
vzdump: 1.2-10
vzprocps: 2.0.11-1dso2
vzquota: 3.0.11-1
pve-qemu-kvm: 0.13.0-3
ksm-control-daemon: 1.0-4

I narrowed down the problem to the following:

Proxmox 1.7 does not connect with the MD3200i, an openfiler iscsi does work.
I installed proxmox 1.6 and it worked, the new server is connected to the MD3200i.

So i think that there is something wrong with the iscsi initiator in 1.7 what causes issue's with the MD3200i.
