Hi guys,

i have a hp microserver gen8 with proxmox installed on.
I bought a 128 gb ssd for replace my old hard disk (a lot of container and only one kvm).

Any advice for proxmox on ssd setup?

Some idea comes to mind:

- Use a swapfile in other drive
- Mount /var to other drive.
- Wich fs type? xfs?

Any tips?

Thanks again

Just a single SSD? Go for ext4 and use LVM thin. No custom mounts/swap needed in almost all cases.

Thanks Tom.

Yes, only one. I have a ssd for lxc e proxmox and two raid1 disk for data.

Why not custom mount/swap?
