Is there any way to manually run the backup task/job, without manually vzdump-ing everything?

When using "-all" will it apply/execute on all nodes, or just on the node on which the command was executed?

Hi,
read the man-page:

-all <boolean> (default = 0)
Backup all known guest systems on this host.

ALL VMs on this host.

PS: you can configure backups with the gui, which produce an cron-job which run on all nodes - if you select -ALL- at nodes.

I know this is a little late, but perhaps someone might find this useful later on. You can actually lookup the backup command that PVE runs in /etc/cron.d/vzdump and copy and past it in the cli. This should manually run the scheduled backup
