No hardisk found proxmox 1.5 rr3120

Hi,

I just did a fresh install on a system with a rocket raid 3120 with proxmox 1.5. Installation ended with the messages: no hard disk found. The 1.4 installation disk however works fine. Is this expected?

the 1.4 installer disk uses 2.6.24 kernel, 1.5 uses 2.6.18 kernel.

so i suggest you install with 1.4 and upgrade to 1.5 with keeping the 2.6.24 kernel branch (as it look like the driver for the rocket raid is not available in 2.6.18).

But, maybe you just used the 'old' 1.5 iso? test the latest, available here.
(there was a small but with raid controllers in the first iso)

Yes, that's what i did and it worked fine. If i have to install it again i will use the new iso and let you know what happens.
