Proxmox Linux Kernel 4.9 Longterm

Proxmox Team Thanks for a great solution!!! I'm interested in some kernel feature (MPLS) that are available from Linux kernel 4.5+. Is there a time frame to get 4.9? I suggest 4.9 because look like is been promoted as Longterm .

Proxmox VE uses the Ubuntu LTS kernel (Xenial), so if it gets updated, Proxmox VE gets updated.

Proxmox VE 4.x is based on the longterm Ubuntu LTS kernel, there is no change here.

The upcoming Proxmox VE 5.0 will use Kernel 4.10 in the beginning and will get a newer one, as soon this makes sense.
