Ceph and Storage Fiber Channel

Hi everyone, would you like to use the ceph in a Fiber Channel storage would it be possible? If you can, please tell me the way.
Hi,
volumes provided by FC are normal volumes like an direct attached disk (like sdb), so it's not realy different.

But it's make realy no sense...
1. SAN-storage are allready shared storage
2. and normaly raided (data-loss-protection)
3. good Ceph performance need many OSDs

Thanks for your feedback, but I currently use LVM but lvm is limited and I can not take snapshot ... what would you recommend me to use with the SAN?

That's very sad, but true. Since gfs2 and ocfs2 are not working properly, you cannot snapshot in a SAN environment without any further logic. You can create a storage appliance like in the old VMware days with providing ZFS-over-iSCSI, but this is more technically possible than feasible.

It does not matter what your SAN can, you can only use block storage from the Proxmox VE side, so providing block storage is the main and first purpose of a SAN. There are currently no extensions or features than can be used directly from within Proxmox VE concerning snapshots on the SAN side except ZFS-over-iSCSI.
