Since i have updated the last kernel (3weeks ago i think was) i'm getting much more problems with network, i know that my network driver dont work fine with promox but previus this update server was running much better that now so i would like to know if its possible to back to previous kernel.

Thanks.

what network card (physical) do you have (in detail)?

06:00.0 Ethernet controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8111/8168B PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet controller (rev 02)

I have raid, i need to do any more steps that use dpkg -i ??
On my previous update i didn't do anything but i have read a post that someone with raid needed to run more steps.

Thanks.

if you have hardware raid, no. if you have a custom unsupported software raid you need to do the same steps you did on the old Kernel.

I have software raid, but i didn't do any special steps so, i'm only goind to do dpkg, after install it i need to change on grub whic kerned need to be loaded?

I have installed and rebooted, new kernel has been loaded: Linux proxmox 2.6.24-8-pve

I will test this for some hours/days and update this post.

Thanks in advance.

The kernel avaliable that tom pusts before is working perfect, is needed to update to this?

it is basically the same - i just uploaded it into the pve test repository and removed it from the other ftp directory (no need to update).
