I have successfully been using a privileged lxc to export NFS shares for quite a while. Each share exports a separate ZFS dastaset. Mounting those shares on a Debian 13 desktop system, all file operations worked apparently flawlessly. My client...
If you ever neew to do it again: one of the points of LVM is not needing to deal with such things. You could have place the new drive in the PVE host, have LVM migrate all the data and remove the old drive without so much as shutting the VMs down.
Hi,
the only changes in the pve-qemu-kvm package were in very specific subsystems related to backup, snapshot and migration and should not affect performance otherwise:
pve-qemu-kvm (11.0.3-4) trixie; urgency=medium

Hello,
I am seeing similar behaviour on a Debian Linux VM running Checkmk in my Proxmox cluster.
Current package versions:
- pve-manager: 9.2.21
- qemu-server: 9.2.10
- pve-qemu-kvm: 11.0.3-4
- Kernel: 7.0.14-20-pve
On October 1, I updated the...
Please share the configuration of an affected VM with qm config ID, the storage configuration cat /etc/pve/storage.cfg as well as the output of pveversion -v. What physical CPU model do you have?

Over 2 hours in to running today's 7.0.14-22~bnxt-test1, so issues at all so far. I've even done a 5 minute iperf3 in both directions over the bnxt_en adapters, and no issues what so ever.
Just to clarify, how long does it take from the test kernel release until it becomes available on the production/stable channel for download and update?
It is my 20 years of sysadmin and 16 years of Proxmox experience.
I then used Claude to search around this possibility and it found 2 bugs report about it.
I just want to reiterate, absent some new severe bug, nothing in the VM (including virtio drivers) should be able to cause the hypervisor host to crash to a point that a user has to manually reboot the server. Except, may be, if a misbehaving or...

I am not sure if ti will work.
Maybe read the github ? https://github.com/google-coral/edgetpu
You could report your issue to the project as it is not linked to Proxmox.
ok this makes it even more bizarre!!! I have a remote offsite backup server (that is pulling the same backup jobs)
and I have no storage issues whatsoever
This is what i know so far:
https://cybernews.com/security/critical-kvm-zero-day-vulnerability-allows-vm-escape/
Which is underwhelming on content. No CVE yet, just a confirmation from vercel.
It would be third escape this year after ITScape...
