I've had several issues in the past passing through an embedded / onboard GPU on a Ryzen 5700G. From memory, they sound to be similar to what you are saying.
That being said, I was setting this up inside a VM, not LXC.
I think you might be on...
Simply put, you're putting too much thought into this.
The server isn't even running VMs, and some of the RAM is being used by the kernel for caches and the like. You're not getting anything OOM-killed and it's not running short on resources...
With the removal of native support from QEMU, the feasibility of keeping the plugin is gone. It is time for users to focus on the migration as soon as possible.

I know this is an old thread, but it may still help others landing here. I ran into the same or a very similar issue this morning installing PBS 4.2 on an old Lenovo H30-00 (Celeron J1900, BIOS from 2014).
Please note this is not an official or...
pay closer attention to what the error is telling you.
Youre trying to create a virtual machine using /mnt/pve/iso as the DESTINATION STORAGE.
there are two things you should do- first, go to datacenter-storage, select iso, and UNCHECK disk...
That's correct, the NFS mount is RO, which is on purpose. I should have been clearer. My problem is that the path to write the backup changes whether the nfs mount is enabled or disabled through Proxmox. I don't want this device to ever be...
Hello Jonas,
Thanks for the suggestions. I tested the older official Proxmox kernel route first.
I installed and booted 6.14.11-9-pve from the Proxmox repository and repeated the same Frigate workload. Unfortunately, the host still hard-reset...
What is the supported way to make this persistent through Proxmox? Selecting SLAAC generates iface eth0 inet6 auto, but the official Debian 13 template currently installs ifupdown2 3.0.0-1.3, which rejects it. Won’t Proxmox recreate the stanza on...
Or to be more blunt: Just because somebody want everything to work like vmware that doesn't mean that it makes sense. ProxmoxVE and the underlying technologies are after all a different system with it's own tradeoffs, pros and cons.
that changes nothing. When you operate your own environment you weigh the tradeoffs and make decisions accordingly. there is nothing in a "home environment" that stops you from partitioning; if you cant be bothered thats your decision. best...
If you are already on the latest BIOS for the Dell, then MAYBE your last chance would be a Microcode update via Linux. Not saying that this would help, just pointing out options.
Otherwise try the latest BIOS first, as the description implies...
You've got it. That's exactly why SUSE put OCFS2 on corosync, kernel DLM and Pacemaker. One membership, one fencing authority.
As for doing the same on PVE... someone still has to pay to develop, debug, and support it. Not my circus not my...
