Hello,
I have a Proxmox VM that I configured as a template. I use this template to create/clone multiple VMs.
My network setup is:
Proxmox
pfSense as the router/DHCP server
pfSense DHCP assigns IP addresses dynamically
VMs use DHCP; I do not...
Hello,
I have built a pipeline to generate packer images of proxmox to be used in Maas.
I'm an HPC system architect. My plan is to install 200+ proxmox head nodes that will be a part of same proxmox cluster. We already had Maas in our...
Thank you.
In 1700 mails from 7800 non-spam-mails / month there was a return path.
All other mails seems to have a Header-From which is identical to the original return path.
I just build up a process extracting either the return path or the...
I don't think Postfix/PMG adds any of these headers, they are added by the final delivery agent.
Reading this:
https://www.postfix.org/smtp.8.html
You could try adding flag=R in the template master.cf.in (for the scan/lmtp service) after the...
I did it in a different Way.
Note that most of my LXC Containers are Fedora while a few others are Debian (and yet fewer Ubuntu).
I set Network to Static in the Proxmox VE GUI, at least for what concerns the LXC Containers that I deployed...
PDM cross-cluster migrations work pretty similar to regular intra-cluster migrations, but there are some differences.
intra-cluster:
- SSH used as control channel, SSH or plain TCP used for data transfer
- live migration of VMs possible, offline...
I wrote a little bit about KSM tweaks/tuning here if you're interested: https://gist.github.com/Impact123/3dbd7e0ddaf47c5539708a9cbcaab9e3#ksm

Hi .. it is possible to make an custom daily spam report for users ? i want to translate to other languahe than english ... adn i also want to have functionality to click (in body mail) to link that makes some actions (deliver, drop, whitelist...
Well, usually we are talking "clusters". And it is wishful thinking that all nodes are equal. In fact one advantage here is that the nodes may widely vary.
That dialog would need to limit the number of assigned cores to those of the smallest...
Lowering the threshold, for ballooning and KSM can mitigate issues on the host, as it will start reducing memory more aggressively when the host still has plenty of resources.
I also have found ballooning to be problematic, with many VMs experiencing out of memory situations unexpectedly, even with very generous minimums. A typical VM will consume all available memory for caching, but probably can't release it quickly...
There are two separate assumptions here that I would not make:
First: a Layer-2 switch should not normally need significant CPU just to forward jumbo frames. If the frame size is supported, forwarding is typically handled by the switching ASIC...

I think you are mixing up several different things here. A switch does not perform TSO. TSO is a host/NIC offload mechanism where the OS can hand a large TCP buffer to the NIC and the NIC segments it into normal Ethernet frames before...
