Installing Proxmox via another system is possible as Proxmox, just like Linux, is not specific to the hardware. You'll might need to fix the bootloader and network configuration. But I doubt that will work around your current issue. Your problem...

--rotate-lockbox-keys worked well on our 3 node 12-OSD test cluster. The warnings are now gone. We'll be testing further with other clusters and report any issues. -
