Thanks for your guide! In case someone else finds this via search: I followed this method in 08/2026 on PVE 9 and it works perfectly. I think this method is even better than the one descibed in the Wiki, since the Wiki tells you to create VMDK... -

GThe LVs are gone but the kernel devices were never removed. Double check they're not in use: dmsetup info -c | grep 103 If that outputs zero you can safely remove them and try to create the VM again: dmsetup remove NAS401_0-vm--103--disk--0...
